Plumber in Marin County, CA

CNTRline Plumbing serves Marin County from our Rohnert Park shop, a short run up Highway 101, and we have covered these towns since 2017. Two things drive plumbing work in Marin: most sanitary districts require a sewer lateral inspection when a home sells, and thousands of mid-century homes are now old enough to need repipes and new water heaters. Call (707) 308-5599 for a straight answer and a free quote, 7 days a week.

Most Marin County sanitary districts require a private sewer lateral inspection and Certificate of Compliance when a home sells. CNTRline runs the camera inspection, gives you the video, and quotes any repair or replacement so escrow does not stall.

Plumbing across Marin County

We drive Highway 101 into Marin every week, from Novato and San Rafael down to Mill Valley, Sausalito, and the Ross Valley towns. Two local realities shape most of the work here.

Sewer laterals at point of sale

Most Marin sanitary districts require a private sewer lateral inspection and a Certificate of Compliance before a home changes hands. The Ross Valley Sanitary District, which covers San Anselmo, Fairfax, Ross, Larkspur, Kentfield, and Greenbrae, has required it since January 1, 2015, and it also triggers on remodels over $75,000 or adding a bathroom, with any repairs due within 90 days of close of escrow. The Sausalito-Marin City district requires a compliance certificate at title transfer or work over $50,000. We run a camera down the line, hand you the video, and give you a straight repair or replacement price. Our Marin sewer lateral guide walks through the process, and the sewer line cost guide covers pricing.

Eichler homes and radiant slab heat

Marin has around 1,700 Eichler homes, most of them in Terra Linda, Marinwood, and Lucas Valley in San Rafael, built between 1955 and 1966. These sit on concrete slabs with hydronic radiant heating, meaning hot water pipes run through the slab itself. A slab leak or a failed radiant line in one of these homes is a specialized repair, and we know how to find and fix it without tearing the house apart.

Salt air and hillside access

Along the bay in Sausalito, Tiburon, and Corte Madera, salt air corrodes pipe and water heater fittings early, so we replace a lot of fittings and heaters on the water side of the county. The steep lots make a sewer or repipe job a tight-access, stairs-and-switchbacks kind of day, which we plan for.

Same-day help across Marin

Highway 101 puts Novato about 20 minutes from our shop and central Marin around 30 to 40 minutes, and we answer 7 days a week. For a burst pipe or no water, call and we will get to you fast. Start with our drains and sewer services or call for anything urgent.
